Library Card and Fees

How to get a library card

Fill out an application card with the following information:  

1.  Proof of identification with current address is required. 

2.   Current telephone number.

3.   A reference from a Nebraska City resident not living with you.

4.   Your signature.  Under the age of 16 a parent or guardian must sign the application card.  

Library Staff reserves the right to verify information before issuing a library card.

Library Card Fees as of October 1, 2007

Nebraska City Resident – No charge

Rural Resident - $20.00 a year per family

Out of State Resident - $25.00 a year per family

The first check-out is limited to two items per family member.  On the following visits there is no limit, however the patron is responsible for all materials until they are returned.
