CHIRS (Consumer Health Information Resources Services) Confidential medical information for specific conditions may be obtained free through the McGoogan Library of Medicine, University of Nebraska Medical Center. This service is available to all Nebraska residents. No sign up required.

The Morton-James Public Library has purchased a subscription to Ancestry.com Library edition. Patrons can access the database from the library. For your convenience call 873-5609 and reserve a computer in the Grace Moller Technology Center.

MedlinePlus will direct you to information to help answer health questions. MedlinePlus brings together authoritative information from the National Library of Medicine NLM, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and other government agencies and health-related organizations. MedlinePlus also has extensive information about drugs, an illustrated medical encyclopedia, interactive patient tutorials, and latest health news.
